Last week I returned from running two trips out to Skokholm Island. I am glad to say that it remains one of my favourite places in the world. Sharing the island a small group of photographers, over 6,000 puffins, 90,000 manx shearwaters and a host of other seabirds is a real privilege. This year the trips took place a little later and we were rewarded by views of baby puffins, pufflings (!), peeking out at the world for the first time from their burrows. The drama continued at fever pitch as adult puffins brought in sand eels for their growing young, whilst being attacked by gulls and even a peregrine! As soon as the 2016 dates are released I will let you know. If you are not already then sign up to my newsletter on the homepage of the website, that way you get first dibs on the limited places.
